1995 Mitsubishi 3000 GT

Initially introduced in 1990 the Mitsubishi GT became the flagship car of the company for the remainder of the decade. The 1995 VR4 was of the second generation and the product of several design changes, including new headlamps, dual airbags and a 320 hp engine.
The new 6-speed manual transmission was geared well and the extra horsepower and torque allowed it to out-accelerate most of its rivals from a standing start to top speed or from a rolling start. 1995 also saw the introduction of a retractable hardtop, the first fully automated retractable hardtop since the 1959 Ford Skyliner.REd
